letterpress is mucho fun! Maybe that is because I have been working so much on the computer these days and getting back to the hand is just so much a fun diversion these days. I created the image for my new year card this year via a letterpress workshop I did at Hamilton Woodtype. I am surprised Kendall does not have a press. I know we have a few at Columbia but they are in the Book and Paper Center or in Anchor Graphics!
that would be sooo great.. for 30% of us atleast.. the other 70% would be bitching about learning about the history of our trade along with those who complained in digital prepress when Gary covered keylining. Sigh.
